This Hand and Body wash base has been designed to provide a lovely rich lather and has been formulated using gentle surfactant and skin enhancing ingredients. It's perfectly PH balanced to soothe and clean even the most sensitive skin and is made from ingredients deriving from 80% coconut. This base has been formulated from start to finish with quality in mind and you can make it your own by simplyadding your favourite fragrance oil!

Fragrance Loading: We recommend starting testing between 0.25% and 0.5% fragrance loading (2.5ml per 1000ml).

How to add fragrance to body wash

In principle, the process of adding fragrance oil to hand and body wash is similar to candle making.

1. Decide on the total weight of your batch, including fragrance (e.g. 500g)

2. Weigh out fragrance oil according to your desired loading (e.g. 0.25% / 1.25g)

3. Weigh out Hand & Body Wash base after accounting for the weight of your fragrance.

4. Combine and stir for 2 minutes to ensure fragrance is fully combined with the base.

5. Leave overnight for excess air to reduce (final product quality can only really be seen at this stage.)

Please Note: Adding fragrance oil to soap can affect the clarity and viscosity of the final product. We recommend you conduct testing before committing to large-scale production. Please ensure that you use fragrance oils that are compatible with Soap Bath and Body Products. When testing your fragrance loading please test using small incremental changes. As this is a product designed for use on the skin thorough testing should be conducted before on-selling.
